Choosing Epic

Hello Lovely,
Choosing Epic doesn’t always look “Epic” in the beginning…

I woke up today feeling sad, tired, and discouraged.

Sad about a certain situation in my life, and tired/discouraged with how long certain things are taking to manifest.

Sadness is a shrinking energy. The temptation is to collapse into it.

Especially if you have a life story like mine, where I learned that I had to solve all my problems alone. (Emotional neglect, betrayal, humiliation, abandonment.)

It’s here that I had a moment of decision—isolate and figure it out on my own, which gives me more “evidence” that I am better off alone, I am too much, and I am invisible.

Or

I could choose connection.

In every possible aspect available to me.  (Every strand of the energetic spider’s web that I talk about)

I chose expansion.

I chose the light. 

I chose connection…

I reached out to a girlfriend and asked for her to hold space for me.

I connected with my boys and nature by talking a walk in the fresh snow and consciously choosing to keep looking UP and taking pictures.

I connected with the delight of my cup of coffee.

I connected with music by choosing to listen to music that feels fiery and lights me up.

Connection heals.

Connections shifts.

Connection opens you back up to experiencing life as it was intended to be—with joy, love, and pleasure.

Choose connection.

Choose expansion. 

Choose epic.
