Hello Lovely,
Recognizing the the outer partnership starts inside is a huge piece of living your Epic Love Story. 

In all my posts, I am talking about relationships and partnerships, but it starts with your inner partnership.

Your own inner masculine & feminine and the dance between the two.

Think of it this way…

If you resonate with my posts, you probably have a story like mine…

You lived the majority of your life in your masculine—working hard, and doing all the things to the point of burnout, frustration, resentment, and total dissatisfaction.

You finally got to the point where you just couldn’t anymore. Everything just felt so “wrong” and you didn’t want to have to struggle so hard in your life.

So you started letting yourself drop into your feminine.

You found relaxation and ease in the flow of the feminine.

You found healing in letting yourself feel again and using your voice to be heard and seen. 

But then, there comes a moment when we realize our feminine cannot continue to expand without integrating our own, inner healthy masculine energy.

The feminine needs the structure of the masculine to feel safe to expand and be even more fully seen and expressed.

Growth starts by remembering the feminine. The feminine goes first, but then the masculine must grow stronger and bigger to hold the space for her to continue to expand.

They need each other.

The outer partnership starts inside with inner union, a.k.a. an inner Epic Love Story.

Hello Lovely,
There is a common disconnection in connections, and until we understand more of the differences between men and women, we will keep participating in this cycle of disconnection. 

Mis-interpretation leads to the feminine feeling angry, which then leads to the masculine feeling rejected, because the feminine has closed her heart.

What if we started asking for clarity and intent, instead of assuming/worrying about the worst?

What if we started assuming he is actually “on your side”?

(Reminder: feminine anger is different from masculine anger. Feminine anger is the response to feeling unloved.)

What if you are loved, but you are simply mis-interpreting the situation/intent/mental processes of your masculine?

If you knew you were loved, would you reject or withhold love from your masculine?

If you truly knew you were loved, would you always search for a way to keep your heart open to your masculine?

Where is the disconnect in your connection?

Understanding this common disconnection in connections is key to living your Epic Love Story.

How might this common phrase change meaning if we thought of “I love you”, as “I accept you as part of me”?

If I truly accept someone as part of me, how does that change my level of devotion/commitment to them?

If I truly accept someone as part of me, how does that change my interactions with them?

If I truly accept someone as part of me, how does that change how I receive their words & actions?

If I truly accept someone as part of me, how does that change how I see them?

If I truly accept someone as part of me, how does that change my focus away from self & towards partnership/collaboration?

If I truly accept someone as part of me, how does that change my willingness to help take care of their needs?

If I truly accept someone as part of myself, how does that change my level of desire to understand them?

If I truly accept someone as part of myself, how does that change how I value them?

Let’s start putting more intention and meaning behind “I Love You”.

Here are some journal prompts for relationship shifts in healing.

What are you looking at?

When we bump up against cycles in a relationship that we don’t like, we tend to hyper focus on the “problem”.

What if we started looking at the healed state, instead of the “problem”?

If the “problem” was healed, how would you be showing up (individually and jointly)?

Are you looking at that and creating that?

What do we need (individually and jointly) to bridge the gap to that healed and healthy state of partnership?

How can we best support each other in meeting those needs?

What changes can we make to support these needs?

How are we going to celebrate and acknowledge each other’s efforts and growth?

We have to start shifting the focus from the pain of the now and towards the healed state, which will lead to the solution and therefore, action steps to get there.

The 2 sides of partnership…one is Divine and one is human. 

As I mentioned in my Love Letter yesterday, “How Does A Divine Partnership Feel?” these Divine Partnerships are really challenging because our own deepest core wounds are exposed and triggered.

Add to that the other person’s deepest core wounds and you have a perfect storm.

As with anything, there are 2 ways to look at this…(and neither is “right” or “wrong”!)…

1. This is too painful for me to address and I choose to walk away and find something “easier” or “more aligned”. I choose to walk away from this wound and save it for another lifetime. (Free will!)

2. I see this as an opportunity for incredible self mastery for me, and an opportunity for me to offer profound healing to my partner.  (If the partner agrees to the healing. This is where conversation is everything).

You get to choose which path feels right for you at this time. Some souls signed up for #1 and some signed up for #2.

I have decided to work with souls in group #2.

That being said, one of the most important keys to the kingdom is to focus relentlessly on progress, not perfection.

The human wants the “perfect” picture right here, right now, but these connections are meant to be a lifetime of “figuring it out” together.

It is so easy to get distracted by the physical world when life seems to present us with “evidence” that what we envision in our hearts is not “meant to be”. It sometimes feels like we take 1 step forward, and then 3 steps backwards.

We must shift and actively look for evidence of progress. Celebrate the f*** out of it.

Healing and true partnership is messy, because it is very real and very raw.

Look for the progress. Keep reminding yourself if it in the dark times.

Hold the vision. (Goddess energy)

You are creating your own epic love.

The 2 sides of Partnership are Divine and human…may you choose the Divine.

How does a Divine Partnership feel?

Splits with a backbend heart-opener. Yeah. Sometimes these Divine Partnerships feel like that.

These partnerships are seriously uncomfortable because they challenge our capacity to keep our hearts open and available when triggered with our deepest wounds.

They push the limits on how well we can hold the space in the face of real discomfort.

They don’t look normal because they are not normal. 

But normal never accomplished anything meaningful.

Normal never makes a person stop and look. 

Normal never creates impact.

Normal never innovates change that humanity needs.

Normal never leads into evolution.

Epic is the path of the future.

Epic is the call of the heart.

Epic trust is required.

Hold the vision and let the world wonder how you did it.
