Nothing Left In the Darkness
Hello, Lovely,
“The truth shall set you free.” This quote has been ringing in my ears all year long. But before I get into that, make sure you read part 1 of my Truth series, “The Truth About Your Truth”.
The Truth shall set you free.
But let me warn you…not in the way you might think.
Your Truth is often NOT glamorous or pretty.
Your Truth is more often raw, fierce, intense, and wild.
Your Truth is your mistakes that you have learned from.
Your Truth is the things that you did or chose, before you knew better.
Your Truth is all the things that you are afraid to reveal to the world, because you are afraid of not being accepted.
Your Truth can feel ugly. It can feel unacceptable. It can feel unforgivable. It can feel traumatic.
But the Truth shall set you free.
How?
Because in embracing your Truth and going into the darkness of it, you learn to completely love yourself, fully accept yourself, and stand tall in your life’s story.
You take the pain and turn it into your power, and in so doing, you inspire others to do so.
You take the ugly and turn it into your most stunning masterpiece and find connection with others.
You go into your darkness and learn to see your powers and capabilities that you didn’t know were hidden there.
You forgive yourself and develop deeper compassion and forgiveness towards others.
Your Truth shall set you free when you fully accept it because then no one will be able to use it against you.
Your Truth shall set you free, but it will first set you on fire.
Are you ready for the fire?
