Am I In A Codependent Relationship?

Hello, Lovely,
In my life, if someone asks me “Do you want the good news or the bad news first?”, I always respond “Bad news first.”  So taking that into mind, I will say this…if you are asking “Am I in a codependent relationship?”, the answer is most likely yes.

Why do I say that? Because most of us entered into our relationships from a place of low self awareness/low self worth/low self love, and once we shift our awareness, we intentionally and actively build lives that do not hold any space or allowance for codependent energy. 

The journey of personal growth/spiritual growth will organically free you from codependency, because you will finally be able to see yourself as whole and complete on your own, lacking nothing. 

So to break it down in simple terms, let me ask you a few questions…

Do you shut down your feelings of hurt in order to avoid upsetting the other person in your relationship?

Do you put their needs before your own?

Do you struggle with expressing your needs?

Do you think you need them to give you something you “lack” on your own (money, love, acceptance)?

Do you feel like something is wrong with you, if you are not in a relationship? 

Do you often feel like everything is your fault when things go wrong?

Any “yes” answers signify a high danger of codependency. 

I spent many years being in a codependent state in my relationships and it was when I started learning about feminine energy that I was able to take my power back and completely change everything. 

I found my worth, my confidence, my voice, and my self love along my journey with feminine energy, and this is why I believe it is my soul’s purpose to guide other women back into their true feminine power. 

Feminine energy has the power to heal our relationships. “Am I in a codependent relationship?” is a really hard question when we start to get really honest with it, but it also is the question that will set you free and heal you.
