A Woman Never Forgets

Love? Or Betrayal?

a woman never forgets

Hello, Lovely,
A few years ago, I stumbled across a quote–“A woman never forgets how a man treated her during the times she needed his support the most.” It hit me like a ton of bricks. My mind immediately rushed back to a time in my life, years ago where I did not have the support that  I needed. It felt like such a betrayal and abandonment on such a deep level to me, that I was never able to forgive it, and it ended up causing the end of that relationship.

Years later, with all the healing and energetic work that I have done, I see the whole thing through the eyes of energy. (My clients know that I have a saying…”it’s not the thing, it’s the thing BEHIND the thing.” )

I recently wrote another Love Letter on “The Wounded Masculine & The Awakened Masculine”, and in that I listed the most common traits of both energetic states. One of the strongest indicators of an awakened masculine is his desire and ability to provide consistent and stable emotional support to his feminine. He has done his inner work to be firmly grounded down into his masculinity, so that he is able to create massive support for his feminine, even when she is in the middle of an emotional wave.

This, in turn, creates a feeling of emotional safety for the feminine, so that she is able to soften and surrender deeper into her love for her masculine.

Her softness brings him closer to her, which makes her feel even more seen and connected with him.

I call this the circle of love, because it keeps going around and creating more love, connection, and intimacy to both.

A woman never forgets both sides of it–the man who is incapable of providing the emotional support that she needs, and also that man who sees her at her worst and stays by her side, offering the support her heart needs. This healthy energetic exchange creates a bond and trust in the relationship that is deeply intense and loyal.
