Dealing with the ups and downs of life becomes more visual and simple when we look at it from an energetic frequency standpoint. 

As I was taking a break on the beach today, I was journalling on some mother wound issues and thoughts around emotional regulation. 

Here is a piece from my notes…

Humans and human behavior has always fascinated me. 

I used to say that if I went back to school, it would be to study psychology. (That changed once I started studying energetics).

What currently fascinates me is how we have a tendency to run from the “highs”, just as much as we tend to run from the “lows”.

(Makes total sense, if you look at everything from an energetic frequency standpoint.)

Let’s start with unraveling the “lows”…

How well can you HOLD the energy of a low (“negative” emotion) in your body?

Do you collapse when the hard times hit?

Do you deny yourself what you need?

Do you revert back to a lower vibrational state where you impulsively choose superficial and/or instant gratification?

Do you seek out validation from lower vibrational sources/people?

Choosing to deal with the ups and downs of life differently breaks your toxic cycles with yourself. 

And following this path brings you to high self worth/value. (healing the mother wound!)

What makes a man sexy? Now there is a fun question!

I had an interesting conversation with myself the other night…
 
What do I find attractive in men?
 
I wasn’t really thinking with my head. This is where women get it wrong. It’s not that perfect-on-paper thing. It isn’t what your head logically tells you. 
 
I was searching my memory for moments in my past where I FELT drawn in towards a man. 
 
What was the energy that I was picking up on in those memories? 
 
And I realized that one of the things that I find the most sexy in a man is bold, consistent effort.
 
So then, I flipped it on myself, because I love how helpful mirroring can be.
 
Am I taking bold, consistent effort towards the things I want to change in my physical reality?
 
There actually is a lot we can learn from our positive experiences with men, because it’s all just energy, anyway.
(And this is a pleasant way of healing masculine wounds and building trust back in the masculine!)
 
Having it all is a collaboration of the feminine & masculine, and both are needed for balance and fulfillment.
 
The feminine FEELS & receives pleasure.
 
The masculine provides on that pleasure.

The Biggest Lesson I Learned From The Last 3 Years

Hello Lovely,
The biggest lesson that I learned from the last 3 years is that I have a love/hate relationship with Saturn.

Ha! No, seriously…

A few weeks ago, after 2.5 years of being in my sign of Aquarius, Saturn moved into Pisces, and I was very, very happy to finally be rid of it. It have some serious resentment issues with that planet. LOL! But I will also be eternally grateful. 
 
If you don’t believe in astrology, just wait until Saturn enters your sign 
 
Saturn recked havoc for me. Endlessly. Relentlessly. It nearly broke me.
 
No matter what I would do, my life spiraled and unthinkable things kept on happening to me. Nothing made sense.
 
No matter what I did.
 
What was the hard lesson that was beat into me?
 
That taking responsibility for yourself is the most important thing. Ever.
 
Taking responsibility means that you STOP blaming someone else or a situation for your misery. You STOP allowing yourself to wallow in victim, “poor me” mode. You STOP waiting for someone else to save you.
 
NO MATTER HOW UNFAIR THE SITUATION IS.
 
You take your power back by bringing all your attention back to yourself and away from the external situation/person. (A lot easier said than done!)
 
What did I do to contribute to this mess?(Self forgiveness, not shame)
 
What’s the negative thought about myself that I am telling myself right now?
 
This opens up your mind to being able to see a new perspective…
 
What could I have done differently that may have made things go a little more smoothly?
 
Now that I know this, what am I going to do differently, moving forward, so that I don’t repeat this again in my future?
 
What am I afraid of losing?
 
What could be possible on the other side of “loss”?
(Something even greater to look forward to!)
 
How can I begin to integrate the two—dissolving of the past, while stepping into a new, expanded version of myself?
 
This, again, is inner union of the masculine & feminine.
 
The feminine surrenders to what is, and does not judge it or others involved. (There is peace here!)
 
The masculine takes responsibility, decides where to shift focus energy for a better use of it, and consistently moves in the direction of something more positive.
 
When the two work together, old patterns are broken, and new foundations are built.
 
Strong foundations of stability, fulfillment, & harmony.
 
Everything we want is found in the balance of the masculine & feminine, the yin & yang.
 
The biggest lesson that I learned from the last 3 years is that inner union is what I was missing, this whole time.

I started realizing a while back and started wondering why affirmations do not always work.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes affirmations do not work, and actually make you kind of angry?

Having someone tell you “you are worthy” is not going to work for some of us.
 
Telling yourself over and over again “I am worthy” is not going to work for some of us either.
 
Because some of us have a story where we were endlessly shamed, wrongfully punished, had everything taken away, were severely neglected, and were constantly told that we were expected to do better.
 
Some of us girls didn’t have a father who treated us like princesses (or anything remotely close to that).
Some of us girls didn’t have a mother to give us unconditional love.
 
If this is your story, I see you, because it’s mine too.
 
I am not blaming parents. That is only disempowering ourselves.
 
I am validating your experience and holding space for you.
 
I know what it takes to re-write abusive stories that are held in your body.
 
I know what it takes to learn to feel energies & feelings that you have never felt before.
 
Because I was you. And I want to tell you, that the other side of the mountain is epic. More epic than you probably can imagine, in this moment.
 
You have to learn to shift your focus OUT of your mind, and into your heart space.
 
You have to learn to validate (self Love) your emotional experience (heart space) and THEN you can bring the mind along for the ride.
 
This is another example of learning inner union—healing & activating both your inner masculine & inner feminine energies.
 
Affirmations are mental = masculine
 
Feelings and energies = feminine
 
BOTH are needed. You cannot have the full shift into worthiness and a new reality without both.

Pain And Sabotage

You Can Have It All

Hello Lovely,
My heart is heavy today with pain and sabotage. 

It is fascinating to see how humans sabotage the very thing they want…love.
 
There are the obvious reasons that everyone is talking about…attachment style, childhood trauma, previous relationships, nervous system issues, hormone imbalances/addictions, etc.
 
Since I read & heal energy, I see the struggle coming from a place of not being able to hold the high vibrational aspect that Love is. (True Love)
 
Receiving Love and holding Love in your body is actually difficult, if you have a lot of lower vibrational issues/attachments in the way.
 
Receiving Love and holding it is difficult, if you have stories that tell you that you have to “earn” it, that you’re not good enough, or that you’re too much, or that love always abandons/betrays me, or any story like that.
 
Another layer is if you have a story that tells you that high vibes are “bad” because they feel too overwhelming or too exciting and/or you fear the loss of happiness. You have learned that happiness can never last or it’s taken away.
(In my story, this came from a childhood where my caretaker viewed pleasure as a sin, so when I would finally find something to make me happy in a very dark world, my caretaker would take it away and punish me for it.)
As you work on receiving and holding Love, you are going to notice patterns of time where you collapse and can no longer hold the Love vibes. This is when you sabotage.
 
What to do?
 
It’s all waves of energy. So the lower you go, means the higher you can go. What I mean is that if you can learn to hold space for yourself in the low emotions, with no judgment, numbing, shaming, escaping, or distracting, then you can ask do the opposite—hold the high vibe of Love without judgment, without running from it, without sabotaging it, without rejecting it.
 
This is why feeling your feelings and learning to hold space for all the feelings is so important. This also ends up shifting attachment issues as well, since that is simply energy too!
 
Emotional availability and maturity is super important to ending sabotage and shifting attachment issues and releasing old limiting stories.
 
This is additionally challenging for women because, historically, women have been shamed and called dramatic, overreacting. We have been made too feel like our emotions are “too much” or that we are making a big deal out of nothing, or that we “should be over it by now”.
The masculine aspect MUST be healed…because it is the masculine that HOLDS.
 
It is the masculine that holds space for the feminine flow of emotions.
 
The feminine is the energy that receives the Love and the masculine is the energy that holds the Love.
 
Both are needed to have what you want..Love.

Hello Lovely,
Let’s continue our talk on relationships and when it is toxic. If you didn’t see part 1, you can read it here.

 I talked about my experiment of choosing to stay when things get “toxic”.
 
I briefly mentioned the results of my experiment, but there is more…
 
1. Taking responsibility for your part and your healing in any situation allows you to finally close out the toxic cycles that you have been participating. Jumping from one relationship to another means you’re just going to keep finding yourself hitting the same issues and repeating the same cycles and generating the same experiences. Staying and doing the inner work closes out these cycles and frees you to create/have what you actually do want—a healthy relationship.
 
2. When you notice your self worth skyrockets from all the inner work, you will notice that you are more clear than ever about what exactly you do require in a relationship and what is no longer acceptable. Your standards have significantly elevated. And you are no longer going to give energy into things that are not worthy of your energy. This means you might decide to leave the relationship, but it’s for the right reasons (and not avoidance), and you won’t find yourself repeating the old in the next one. OR, you may choose to stay, but only after a conversation with your partner about what you need to change in order for this to work and grow into healthy together. When this happens, true partnership is born and intimacy can deepen because values align and it becomes a collaborative effort to grow into healthy. A new, stable foundation and a new reality is born.

You Can Have It All

Hello Lovely,
Let’s talk about a hot topic…when it is toxic.

I see a world around me that is so quick to label and judge the other person for everything they’re doing wrong.

Toxic
 
Narcissist
 
Something about the “toxic” culture didn’t sit right with me. My intuition told me something was off and I needed to investigate.
 
So I decided to get into my experimenting mode (i am a 3/5 in human design 😂).
 
After a lifetime of running from relationships the moment they turned “toxic”, I decided to stay, and something happened that I was NOT expecting.
 
Whenever a “toxic” situation would come up, I would walk away and bring my attention back to myself (very difficult if you have an anxious attachment style, but it’s the only path to taking your power back, and simultaneously healing your anxiety!)
 
What is another perspective that I could view this situation from? (A perspective that saw positivity in a “negative” situation)
 
How did I contribute to the mess?
 
What wound/past story was triggered?
 
What was the wounded me needing and asking for (in a rather ugly way!)
 
How do I meet these needs? (Boundaries or connection)
 
Now that I know my truth in the situation, how can I heal and shift myself, so that I can show up differently next time?
 
Because if I show up differently, the outcome has a chance at being different!
 
Taking responsibility for YOU is more impactful that you may think.
 
I was originally doing this to have a healthier relationship, but what ended up happening was my self worth, standards, and confidence skyrocketed.
 
I knew my high value in being able to shift myself, without my external life changing at all.
 
This is true power. Personal power.
 
I hate this “toxic” culture we got going on. Yes, there are toxic people and narcissists do exist.
 
But a lot of the time, that’s the easy cop-out of doing the SELF work and learning how to get more vulnerable, honest, and emotionally available to YOURSELF.
 
When it is toxic, we need to look back at ourselves and see where we are being toxic. 
 
It’s the culturally acceptable escape reason for running from YOURSELF and not doing what needs to be done inside YOU.
 
The moment you realize that True Love is learning to do your end to heal yourself, is the moment that you start to realize your True Self and potential.
 
You can have it all.
 
But you have to choose all of you first.

My Journey of Inner Union

Foundations for Your Epic Love Story

my journey of inner union

Hello Lovely,
I feel the need to expose more of my journey of inner union..

I grew up without my mother and with a severely wounded masculine father.
 
I grew up to become a master of wounded masculine energy—completely shut down emotionally, analyzing everything, being proud of my logical processing/planning/problem-solving, and my hard work ethic.
 
I remember a compliment my father gave me, “You have a very mechanical mind for a woman.”
 
I over-gave, was too nice, had no boundaries, low self worth and low confidence. I worked hard to “earn love”. I was hyper-independent because I completely distrusted men. I “did it all” because I was overly self-reliant and controlling. I viewed women who were emotional as weak. I was an extreme case of a woman with a feminine core, trying to force her way through life as a masculine, because that was all I knew.
 
On a hot Sunday morning in Brazil, 10 years ago, I hit my first rock bottom (dark night of the soul)…burnt out, deeply depressed, and physically sick.
 
I have spent the last decade, clawing my way out of the darkness, healing my body, burning my old life to the ground, and recreating my identity.
 
The more I rested in my feminine, the more relief washed over more.
 
The more I let go of the doing, the more I found freedom and spaciousness in my flowing.
 
The more I let myself feel, the more I learned radical self acceptance, self respect, and self Love.
 
The more I let my intuition guide me, the more powerful and sovereign I felt.
 
But then I hit a plateau. Because the feminine can only soften and open to the extent that the masculine holds a safe space for her to relax.
 
I had to switch my focus over to my inner masculine, because I had rejected it and labeled it “bad”, rigid, restrictive, and limiting, and not yet learned how to use it to support and provide for me.
 
The more I healed my masculine, the more I fell in love with boundaries and how they created support and clarity for me.
 
The more I healed my masculine, the greater space I learned to hold for all the emotions with no judgement and shame.
 
The more I healed my masculine, the more I learned to trust and understand the masculine and therefore, men.
The more I healed my masculine, the more my childhood wounds with my own father are closed out.

Neither can be pushed away or regarded as less than.
 
And when both are welcomed home, bliss is achieved.

What happens when you hold space goes deeper than you may think at first glance. 

The more “work” (inner work) you’ve had to do to “achieve” something (state of being), the more you’re going to value it.
 
The more pain you have had to go through to get to the other side, the more you are going to value it.
 
The more challenging it has been, the more value it holds because you know what you had to go through to get it.
 
So once you’re there, you’re going to be able to hold space for it…which means being willing to wait for it to manifest in the physical.
 
…Which means delayed gratification.
 
…Which means epic patience and trust.
 
…Which means boundaries to uphold it.
 
…Which means high self worth all around it.
 
On top of this, what happens when you hold space is that you unlock your soul mission and purpose for being here.
